Welcome!  My name is Kaitlyn, and  I am so happy you stopped by my Blog.

I am a young mom of four beautiful children, a wife to an amazing man, and a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.   I have had a desire to write about family and  homemaking for a long time and I am now entering into this new journey!  I feel blessed to have this opportunity to write about the things I love… all of which include family.  I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom, and loving every second of it … well, maybe not every second,  but nonetheless, I am here doing what I love most!   I rely on God’s grace, and love Jesus Christ with all my heart. 

My children are 10, 8,6, and 4 years now,  and I am in my 5th year of homeschooling them while teaching them the lost arts of life skills and homemaking. It is such a joy of mine.  My days are very full and very busy, there is never a boring moment in my home, and I would love to encourage and connect with other busy moms as we go through this amazing journey of child rearing together.

I am simply passionate about family!!   God created family, and He is passionate about it,  therefore,  I make it a priority.  There was a point in my life that I didn’t think I would have a family,  doctor’s told me it probably won’t happen. It took a four year struggle, and the loss of a child before I was given the gift of my first baby.  Now, I am blessed beyond measure

I love quiet times with Jesus,  dates with my husband, quality time with my children,  coffee shops,  big lattes with lots of foam and honey, baking, working out,  fall leaves,  homeschooling, laughing …..  A LOT!,  serving,  and I will never be too old for crafts!    I love life!,   and I take pleasure in looking around and seeing what God is doing and where He has brought me from.

I have such a heart to keep my home,  serve my husband and raise my children according to God’s word.   I don’t take lightly the things I’ve been given.    People always ask me questions like ‘ how do you do this?’,   ‘how do you keep your home so well?’,  ‘ why do you homeschool?’, ‘ how do you have such a great marriage?’, ‘when do you find the time to bake?’,  and so on.  So, I decided I’d like to share my thoughts on these  things  through a blog.   Things like parenting, homeschooling, recipes and baking, housekeeping, marriage, inspiration and so much more.                                                                                                                     I hope my posts bring you some encouragement and joy,  maybe some help or even just a good read, as I write from my heart and my home.  I am just a simple homemaker with lots to share.
